Code Yogis - Coding Fundamentals: Gold Program- May Code Yogis is a multi-level program aimed at instilling interest and understanding for technology at a young age. Focusing on several aspects of modern tech including, coding, robotics, circuity and AI, the program provides an opportunity for learning that isn't present in public schooling. With hands-on learning, fun projects and team activities, Code Yogis can help school-age kids find their calling and pave the way for a career in the growing tech industry.The instructor, Alaina, is a current student of Central Bucks School District. She began exploring the world of coding at age six. Since that time, she's acquired an understanding of numerous aspects of the tech world . Among her achievements and qualifications, Alaina has worked with many projects of her own, including developing an Amazon Alexa app for her school district for which she was recognized. Senator Brian Fitzpatrick worked to get a flag flown in her honor on Capitol Hill. She’s also spoken at international universities about her research on topics such as AI and ChatGPT. Alaina’s an AWS certified Cloud Practitioner and regularly writes blogs about various tech topics. She has experience teaching eight week courses at Bucks County Libraries and was previously the president of a coding enrichment club at her school.
Code Yogis: Robotics New to Warwick Township, this program is a multi-month program focused on helping school-age kids learn the benefits of robotics, a flourishing branch of computer science. Members will learn to build robots using Olympic-grade robotic equipment, program them, and experiment with various sensors, diverse projects, and more. This team-oriented program fosters collaboration, engineering, programming, and fun! The one-of-a-kind experience will prepare kids for robotics/AI careers, computer science jobs, and Olympic robotics teams.In order to register for this program, the registrant must either pass the Code Yogis Coding Fundamentals Gold assessment or have completed the Code Yogis Coding Fundamentals course. If you would like to take the Coding Fundamentals assessment, please reach out to Kristen Belles (kbelles@warwickbucks.gov) after completing your registration. This program is set to run monthly beginning in April and going through May, June ,August, Sept and Oct with a break in July. Participants will need to register for each month, should they desire to participate for the entire program. * A non-refundable, one-time equipment fee of $50.00 is due to the instructor on the first day of the program*

Fly Tying Classes - Beginner Fly Tying Class Beginner Fly Tying Class Did you ever want to learn how to tie your own flies instead of buying them from an unknown source? This is a “Beginner Fly Tying Class” that will cover 8 different fly patterns that are used through out the fishing season. In class we will go over what tools are needed, the materials, how to tie the fly and what we are trying to imitate. Tools and materials will be supplied in the classroom. A Digital Beginner Fly Tying Manual is included in the class (to be printed at your home). The use of Videos, Step by Step manual and hands on instruction will be used for this class, because each person learns differently. The flies taught in this class are not only good to teach beginners but are proven fish catchers. Fly Tying Classes - Beginner Fly Tying Class Beginner Fly Tying Class Did you ever want to learn how to tie your own flies instead of buying them from an unknown source? This is a “Beginner Fly Tying Class” that will cover 8 different fly patterns that are used through out the fishing season. In class we will go over what tools are needed, the materials, how to tie the fly and what we are trying to imitate. Tools and materials will be supplied in the classroom. A Digital Beginner Fly Tying Manual is included in the class (to be printed at your home). The use of Videos, Step by Step manual and hands on instruction will be used for this class, because each person learns differently. The flies taught in this class are not only good to teach beginners but are proven fish catchers. Fly Tying Classes - Beginner Fly Tying Class Beginner Fly Tying Class Did you ever want to learn how to tie your own flies instead of buying them from an unknown source? This is a “Beginner Fly Tying Class” that will cover 8 different fly patterns that are used through out the fishing season. In class we will go over what tools are needed, the materials, how to tie the fly and what we are trying to imitate. Tools and materials will be supplied in the classroom. A Digital Beginner Fly Tying Manual is included in the class (to be printed at your home). The use of Videos, Step by Step manual and hands on instruction will be used for this class, because each person learns differently. The flies taught in this class are not only good to teach beginners but are proven fish catchers. Yarn Club - Hooks & Needles Yarn Club The Warwick Yarn Club, Hooks and Needles, is extending an invitation to those of you who love to knit, crochet, needlepoint and socialize. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Main Meeting Room of the Warwick Township Building at 1733 Township Greene, Jamison, PA 18929 (off Meyer Way). You are welcome to come for as much or as little of the time as your schedule permits. There are no fees. The goal is to share patterns, knowledge, skills, information, and to make new friends.
