Tone & Strengthen Classes with Aesha Tahir Register View Cart

Aesha has a Master's degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University of Chicago and she is a proud owner of Tone and Strengthen, a company that provides mobile fitness solutions. She is an AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor, NASM-Certified personal trainer, and NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is a Master Instructor for Spinning(R) Indoor Cycling program. She loves hiking, biking, running races for good causes, yoga, nature, proper nutrition and exercise. She began teaching fitness classes six years ago and she loves the community and camaraderie that group exercise classes offer. Aesha has a soft spot for "newbies" and loves helping people ease into a healthy and active lifestyle with a "Make it Fun!" attitude. Her workouts are fun, challenging, and functional and at the same time bring peace and clarity of mind to her clients. She is dedicated to helping people of all ages achieve fitness at their level. I meet the people where they are at and go from there. She is grateful for this opportunity to help others reach their wellness goals.

YOGA Sculpt Virtual Class: The instructor will move with you, in a yoga inspired class, infused with strength and light cardio training, that will be sure to add heat to your daily routine, while toning every muscle group. The class will start with 15 minutes yoga flow, followed by a 20 minutes full body strength circuit, and ending with 15 minutes deep stretch flow. Yoga mat and two medium – heavy dumbbells are suggested for this class.

Body by Barre Hybrid Class: Are you ready for a one-hour full body workout?  Set to today's hottest music, Body by Barre fuses ballet, Pilates, sports conditioning and stretching. This regimented routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a toned, trim physique.  Classes begin with a warm-up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by upper body exercises. A waist height sturdy surface can be used for flexible training, and to sculpt the lower body and abs.  Class ends with core work and stretching.  Many of the stretches and strengthening exercises are endorsed by sports medicine physicians and orthopedists. Yoga mat, Pilates ball, loop resistance band, and two light dumbbells are suggested for this class.

Vinyasa Yoga with Ian Virtual Class:
It's a gentle yoga flow for all fitness levels to give you energy and help you focus throughout your day.  You will gain strength and flexibility in your muscles while having a strong mind body connection.  Each class will combine a balanced series of poses with a focus on opening up one of several potential areas of tightness, such as your hamstrings, hips, shoulders, or neck.  A selection of restorative poses will support your body with props, so the muscles, fascia and nervous system can take a break from the daily grind. Yoga mat and two blocks are suggested for this class.

Mat Pilates Virtual Class:
This mat Pilates class is a combination of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. The class will focus on stabilizing the core, improving posture, and strengthening the total body! Utilizing props such as the Pilates ball, light hand weights, the Pilates ring/circle as well as many others keeps class interesting and ensures you’ll never take the same class twice! Don’t worry if you don’t have all the equipment. Just show up to the class the coach gives many options, and all the exercises can be done body weight. All fitness levels are welcome. Yoga mat, Pilates ball, loop resistance band, Pilates ring, and two light dumbbells are suggested for this class.

BarreLattes Hybrid Class:
The class is a fusion of ballet conditioning, and Pilates. Whether you want to look better, feel better, or help increase bone density...this class is for you! Barre section will include standing lower body strengtheningexercises and the Pilates section will include floor work to strengthen and stabilize your core. Come have fun with us getting healthy and strong. Yoga mat, Pilates ring, and stability ball are suggested for this class.

Chair Yoga with Debbie Virtual Class:
Use the chair as a prop to make many of the traditional yoga asanas (movements or poses) more accessible. This 60-minute class will open with a short meditation, move through seated warm-ups, and progress to standing poses using the back of the chair for balance. Debbie will offer variations and options throughout the practice so that you can tailor your experience to meet the needs of your mind, body, and soul. Debbie’s teaching is passionate, respectful of individual bodies, attentive to alignment, and characterized by thematic flows. Feel both soothed and energized with this accessible yoga practice.
Set up your device and have a seat! An upright chair like a kitchen chair or a stable folding chair is recommended for this class. No wheelies please.


20/20/20 Cardio, Strength & Core Virtual Class:
Three workouts in one! This class is a total body workout that combines cardio, strength training and core exercises. A total body workout designed to define & tone every muscle in every way. Great class for improving muscular strength & endurance. Great for guys too! Please bring a yoga mat and towel. Yoga mat, loop resistance band, and two medium/heavy dumbbells are suggested for this class.
